Services

As a 501(c)3 nonprofit company that wants to provide paddling opportunities for people who have disabilities, we raise money to purchase adaptive paddling equipment. In addition, we will provide funding to assist those who have limited income to allow them to participate in paddling activities.

In partnership with GetOutdoors Pedal & Paddle and our local municipalities we have a variety of events.

The Adaptive Experience introduces the joy of paddling in a supportive environment for people with a variety of disabilities. With this event, we also have the option for a family member or friend, we call a Companion Boater, to paddle too. To register for an Adaptive Experience, there are two event options. One for the person who has a disability and the second is for the Companion Boater. $20 each

Adaptive Paddling Skills Course provides kayak skills instruction for people who want to learn paddling strokes, techniques and watercraft safety. These Skills classes can lead to more inclusive paddling opportunities at other locations and more independent paddling. $50

Adaptive Demo is an event where people can come and see what adaptive paddling is all about without committing to an event. We bring kayaks, adaptive equipment and plenty of safety boaters! Each participant has a chance to try out a kayak with whatever adaptive equipment they may need for 15 – 20 minutes and see how they like it. Contact us for pricing.

Adaptive Group Events – if you are part of a supportive group for your type of disability and the group would like to paddle together either for a first time or a regular outing, let us know. Some groups might include Parkinson’s, Autism, Spinal Cord Injury, etc. Contact us for pricing.

Safety Boater Program – if you have the desire to become a safety boater with us, contact us for more information.
